This privacy policy applies to firstdonations.com and describes how we collect, use and store your personal data when you use our service.

1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect

When you place an order, we collect:

• Your email address — to send your order confirmation and receipt
• Your uploaded photo(s) — stored temporarily on our server for artwork processing
• Your styling preferences — the options you select in the order form
• Your Etsy code (if applicable) — to verify your Etsy purchase
• Your payment data — processed exclusively by Stripe; we never store card details

We do not collect visitor comments, run advertising trackers, or sell your data to third parties.

3. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to remember your progress through the order form. It contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser. We use one additional cookie to remember your cookie consent preference (lasting 1 year).

4. How We Use Your Data

• To process and fulfil your portrait order
• To send you a transaction receipt by email
• To verify Etsy code validity (Etsy orders only)

We do not use your data for marketing without your explicit consent.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Order data (email, preferences, photo URLs) is stored in our database hosted on Hostalia servers in Spain. Uploaded photos are stored on the same server and retained for 90 days after order completion, then deleted. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Spanish tax law.

6. Third-Party Services

• Stripe — processes payments. Their privacy policy applies to all payment data.
• Google Fonts — loads fonts from Google's CDN. Google may log IP addresses.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with Spain's data protection authority (AEPD)
